OUR COMMITMENT
Safety is not a program.
It is how we work.

SAFETY PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Zero incidents is the only acceptable goal.
At Burd & Assoc., safety is built into how we plan, schedule, and execute every project. Our crews are trained to identify hazards before they become incidents, and our superintendents enforce a culture of accountability on every site we run.
We maintain an active safety program that includes pre-task planning, weekly toolbox talks, and ongoing training for all field personnel. Every project starts with a site-specific safety plan and ends with a clean record.
Our subcontractors are held to the same standard. If you are on one of our sites, you follow our program, no exceptions.

SAFETY PROGRAM
How we keep our sites safe.
Pre-Task Planning
Every crew starts the day with a pre-task plan that identifies hazards, required PPE, and safe work procedures for that day's scope of work.
Weekly Toolbox Talks
Superintendents lead weekly safety meetings covering relevant topics, recent incidents in the industry, and site-specific reminders.
Subcontractor Standards
Every subcontractor on our sites is required to follow our safety program. We conduct regular site audits to ensure compliance.
OSHA Training
All field personnel hold current OSHA 10 certifications at minimum. Supervisors and project managers hold OSHA 30.
Incident Reporting
Near misses and incidents are reported and reviewed immediately. We use every event as an opportunity to improve our protocols.
Site-Specific Plans
Every project gets a site-specific safety plan tailored to its unique conditions, hazards, and site access requirements.
